One can travel from flight till Jollygrant Airport of Dehradun and then travel by road (NH 58 till Rudraprayag and then NH 109 to Gaurikund)
One can travel from Train till Rishikesh or Haridwar Railway Station and then travel by road (NH 58 till Rudraprayag and then travel by NH 109 to Gaurikund)
Gaurikund is the last motorable location on the way to Kedarnath Temple. The yatries
can park their vehicles at the government parking facility at Sitapur or Sonprayag.
From Gaurikund to Kedarnath temple, it is a trekking route of 16 kilometers.
Sonprayag onwards the yatris either trek on foot or can take help of horses/mules.
From Gaurikund yatris can hire palanquins (Doli) and dandi kandi(porters) for their
journey. Yatris can also book helicopters from Guptakshi onwards. The appropriate
